Chile One Prepares Third Album as Competition Heats Up Ahead of Awards Season
Chile One MrZambia is preparing for the release of his third studio album in 2026, with the singer revealing that the project is already about 70 percent complete. The announcement comes months after the success of his Eagle One album, which became one of the biggest Zambian music releases of 2025.
The Eagle One project enjoyed massive success, accumulating millions of streams across platforms and earning Chile One five Kwacha Music Awards in a single night. The album helped cement his place among the country’s leading artists and further expanded his fan base both locally and u internationally.
However, the singer faces stiff competition as the awards season draws closer. Yo Maps’ Vibes On Vibes album has recorded over 5.1 million Spotify streams in just 38 days, while Eagle One accumulated more than 2.5 million streams over an 11-month period. Chile One recently declared himself the biggest artist in Zambia during an appearance on a Malawian media platform, a claim that fans continue to debate as the numbers race intensifies.
