Mwaka Halwindi, Kazadi Appear in Court Over Videos

Mwaka Halwindi And David Kazadi Face Obscene Material Charges

Film producer David Kazadi and model Mwaka Halwindi have appeared before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court facing charges related to the alleged production and possession of obscene materials.

According to court proceedings, the two are accused of producing and possessing content that prosecutors describe as obscene. The alleged offences are said to have occurred in Lusaka between January 2023 and June 2025.

Also appearing before the court is co-accused Ruby Muzandu, who faces charges of circulating and possessing alleged obscene materials.

Prosecutors claim that Muzandu distributed the videos through a WhatsApp group reportedly known as “Trip to South Africa.”

The matter has attracted public attention due to the individuals involved and the nature of the allegations. However, the charges remain before the court and have not yet been proven.

The case is expected to continue as the court proceeds with further hearings and legal processes in the coming days.
