President Hichilema Visits Ephendukeni Ahead of Funeral
President Hakainde Hichilema visited traditional leaders gathered at Ephendukeni before the funeral mass of the late Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV.
The visit formed part of the Presidentβs efforts to pay his respects to the chiefs and members of the Ngoni Royal Establishment as the nation continues to mourn the veteran traditional leader.

Chiefs from different parts of the country have converged in Eastern Province to honor the late Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV, whose passing has drawn tributes from across Zambia.
During the visit, President Hichilema interacted with the traditional leaders and joined mourners in recognizing the contributions made by the late Ngoni monarch during his four decades of leadership.
Paramount Chief Mpezeni IV is remembered for preserving Ngoni culture and traditions while promoting unity and development among his people throughout his reign.
His funeral has attracted government officials, traditional leaders, church representatives, and members of the public from across the country.
